SVSFE just wrapped up the 4th of 5 weeks of our Youth Fishing Camp. A huge shoutout to Shawn Charlebois with Red Road Compass for facilitating this week's Camp. Shawn did a magnificent job at his Land Based Learning Camp teaching our youth a variety of bushcraft skills including fire making, fish smoking, plant identification and uses, Canadian history, and so much more! The kids also spent some time catching chubs and shiners in the Swan River. Also, big thanks to Shivers for providing the kids with ice cream at the end of a hot day! And most importantly, thanks to the Fish and Wildlife Enhancement Fund for making all this possible!!
